Chinese School was founded in 1978 to provide Chinese Mandarin education to local
children. As an overseas model Chinese school and Chinese Proficiency Test
Centre, all teachers in our school have undergone professional training and
most teachers have more than five years of teaching experience. The school
uses “Zhongwen” as the main textbook and “Easy
Steps to Chinese” as the supporting textbook. GCSE class uses local Examination course
books. Since the
epidemic, we have been using Zoom and Google Classroom. The school
uses a local secondary school as premises.
All classrooms are well-equipped with interactive white board and
projectors. The school currently has
12 classes. The age of the students ranges from 4 to 18, and the grades range
from Reception to the class GCSE. We
also run extracurricular cultural classes such as dancing, painting,
calligraphy etc from time to time. Over the
years, our students have achieved excellent results in the secondary
education examinations, and many students have entered top universities in
the UK. The school actively participates in local cultural and social
activities. We strive for the harmony
and mutual understanding between different cultural groups. |
